Ongoing safety

Ascent with HighStep Easy is always connected with HighStep Protector independent fall protection. The safety guard is fixed with a snap hook on the user’s personal safety harness. HighStep Protector moves along automatically at normal ascent and descent speeds. Thanks to the four slide rollers, the protector runs fluidly and softly along the rail.

Reliable fall protection

When there is a quick downward motion, e.g., in the event of a fall, the Protector is automatically hitched via a safety latch in the rail and reliably prevents freefall. The fall cushioning installed ensures that the fall is gently absorbed.

TÜV (Technical Certification Organisation ) certified and approved

The Protector is tested and certified by the Technical Certification Organisation (TÜV) in accordance with DIN EN 353-1(PPE-Directive). It is designed for a static load of 1500 kg.

Simple application to the rail

The HighStep Protector can be attached to the rail and removed quickly and easily with a hand grip. Every Protector operation can be easily done with work gloves. A sophisticated mechanism guarantees that the Protector is not opened inadvertently.

Firm attachment point on the rail

At the press of a button, the Protector can be locked to any position of the rail. Slipping downward or upward is then impossible.
